About QADR
The Qatar Disability Resource (QADR) is a community-generated resource for the disability community in Qatar. It was founded in 2018 with the goal of bringing families together who are raising dependents with disabilities. Today, the platform continues to grow and engage diverse stakeholders, from people with disabilities (PWDs) to their families, as well as medical professionals, educators, therapists, services providers, researchers, and more.
QADR believes that every single individual should have the opportunity to grow and fulfill their potential, i.e. what God designed for them (qadr). We also believe that Information is Empowerment, and can be a key contributor to designing life plans with knowledge, confidence, and a positive outlook. Hence, the QADR website is designed to capture information from the community, for the community, to serve this purpose.

To dive deep into experiences of disability on the ground to identify gaps in the support infrastructure.
To support various research activities in hopes to promote advocacy and inform policy development.
